Mathias Angeli – the host
Ever since I was a child, I dreamed of having my own restaurant. Life first led me toward engineering, but in the end, my heart brought me back to the kitchen.
Since 2014, I’ve been cooking professionally—leading kitchens both in Hungary and in Sri Lanka, and exploring cuisines from seafood to traditional Hungarian flavors to sustainable, zero-waste dining. Now, I’m excited to bring all of that knowledge and passion into something truly my own in the most personal setting: my home.
I welcome you not as customers, but as guests—like friends joining me for an intimate lunch or dinner. Each dish is thoughtfully created, carefully balanced, and meant to be savored. My aim is to offer not just a meal, but an experience: almost fine dining with the warmth and comfort of a friend’s table.

But there is also an option to make it gluten-free or add some meat if you like. Please let me know in advance if you have any food intolerances or follow a special diet.Â
Everyone around one table
In the comfort of my living room, all guests sit and dine together around a single table, just like a group of friends.
About the drinks
The dinner price always includes still and sparkling water. I also offer homemade syrups, as well as wine and beer from the drink menu
There are no hours of operation
Lunch and dinner are available on select announced dates. For announced events please check the facebook page
For private gatherings of 6–8 guests, I would be delighted to host you. Please get in touch, and together we can arrange the perfect date.
I speak Hungarian and English, and with a little help, we’ll find common ground in German as well.
